Ranch Sorting Practice is now apart of our COWTOPIA Night!

September 1st in the Eugene Pro Rodeo Arena!! 

Practice Starts at 6PM and will go till 9PM we will have the Silverado Arena available for warmup. 

$35 per person, we do not limit riders on the number of runs they can make at practice, this gives everyone the opportunity to ride with new people and gain a ton of experience.

Ranch Sorting Practice will be held in the EPR Arena while we have roping practice with “Henry Hotheals” our Heal O Matic roping sled in Silverado and coming soon to Logan Arena, A Cowtrac System, the ultimate mechanical cow!!!!!

What is Ranch Sorting?

Ranch sorting is a western-style equestrian sport that evolved from the common ranch work of separating cattle into pens for branding, doctoring, or transport. Ranch Sorting is an event that pits a team of two riders on horseback against the clock. Teamwork is the key with both riders working in harmony to cut out the correct cattle and drive them to the pen while keeping the wrong numbered cattle back.
